Positive: It's hard to tell from the photos but the living space on the upper floor has views of both the bay and the Atlantic in both directions. Morning sun for coffee hour, sunset on the other side for happy hour. Robbins Rest is a bit of a mission because of the trip through the sand, but the plus side of that is the back of the house has no neighbors, just National Seashore pines and scrub brush. At night you hear the waves and summer bugs. I made a blackberry cobbler from the berries I picked nearby.
Negative: The showers are tiny! The outdoor one was better but needs an extra privacy curtain so you can take off your suit and dry off.

Positive: The view of the beach was amazing. overall it was a great family vacation. The wagons didn’t have anything written on them so it took us awhile to find them.
Negative: weird sounds at night the gate at the top of the stairs would slam open and shut. My son heard a laughter of a child on one of the down stairs bedroom. our last night was pretty unpleasant most of us couldn’t sleep.

Positive: The location was amazing with views of the ocean and the bay. It also had a lot of bedrooms which was a plus.
Negative: For the money we paid, I was disappointed that the accomodations weren't more updated. There were windows in the bedrooms missing screens which made it really stuffy and the sheets that were on the bed were actually stained.
Summary: We had a wonderful week and really enjoyed staying in Robbins Rest for the first time.
